ok so i made a new website http://www.silvervalleypoultry.com , now my question is when it comes to photo gallery's, do you like them embedded into the website ( so it appers in the page) or do you like it better when you click a link and it takes you to a separate site where the photos are?

also look it over and see if all the links and stuff, work please.

Thanks,
Ps. i want your ideas on it.

It depends on the context. As a rule of thumb, you don't want visitors wandering off to other sites. Try to keep your images in the section to which they apply rather than have a separate gallery page.

Although you will need quite a few images, it's text that gets your website up the search engine rankings. Use plenty of text that's rich in the keywords that the people you want to visit your site will be using in their searches.

I know that you are off the ground with this project but if you find your base software doesn't let you do what you want, have a look at Wordpress. It's much more than just blogging software.

Your images need more pixels. They look grainy.

Enjoy your project and good luck!

I think that you need a better camara

sorry but the pics are not good

I don't like the change in look when you click the photo link. You need people to feel like its the same website. I also hate having to click thumbnails. I would rather wait on pictures to load.

I use kompozer to do all the basic stuff on my site an finish up with custom html on word.

If you can't do thumbnails (so you know just which you want to see bigger/worth it to click) than go with putting them in the page is my vote.

I hate having to navigate away from what I'm looking at. All too often I've done that and then not been able to find my way back to what I was looking at...
