My newest addition to the duck house

3 brown ones are hybrid laying hens and the dark one is supposed to be a roo, but I don’t know what he is all approx 5 months old

These look like funny ducks.
The one is a roo. Looks to be araucana or at least rumpless.

I think he’s gorgeous, any idea what the hybrids hen mix could be?

The look like Isa brown, a comet, or a cinnamon queen which is pretty similar. Hybrids are bred to be great egg layers.

After looking at pictures of all 3 of those breeds my brain hurts. I’m going to say golden comet

Either way they are generally friendly and great egg layers.

They will go near you if you’re sitting still but if you try to touch them they take off

Most chickens will do that, but if you just get them accustomed to your presence they will become more used to you and not run away.
Mine know when I'm about ready to catch them and they take off like lightning.

They’re already getting better
