The last silkie mix i tried hatching died from complications so ill stick to pure silkies lol but out of my 17 eggs 15 hatched one egg left is pipped and one died in the shell from high humidity.

Isn't it bad to hatch eggs right off of the turners like that?

I had silky mix chickens, some didn't have the blue skin, some had an extra toe, and some didn't have silky feathers, but they all had the pom on the head.

You just gotta watch to make sure they dont fall in an egg hole head first. I have better hatches using the turner as taking it out and laying them on there sides sucks the moisture out of them and chills them as its cooer on the bottom.

One of my silkie chicks as one foot with the etras toe the other foot is normal. One also has a single comb but even silkie mixes they always have the afro lol
