Good morning! Hope it wasn't a bald Cypress he cut down or my hubby will be upset with your hubby (LoL, it's one of his fav tree for bonsai). Nice cherry tree!

Looks like (it was) a bald Cypress, maybe pond or Montezuma, there's a few varieties.
It would've made a nice bonsai tho.... I ain't telling him!

How was the rest of your vacation time?
We got some more rain over the weekend, haha guess who got to climb a ladder to unclog the oak leaves from the rain gutters .

My Dyckia (pronounced di-key'a) has been blooming nicely, the flowers have a very sweet fragrance. This was once a tiny piece in a 2" pot, now I can hardly move the pot it's outgrown!
