My Old English Game Bantam Hen has fluid in her stomach and seems to have an egg that needs to be passed, was took to vet, what should I do?

The vet felt an under-developed egg, we think Marek's and likely will get her euathanized Monday. 😭😢😭
Ok so a lash egg still in the oviduct. My girls have had loads of these. Sometimes they lay them, sometimes they can break down and get reabsorbed into their system over time. Just to let you know with the type of Marek's that causes paralysis, in some cases the paralysis passes after 24-48 hrs and the hen is fine again. But she will have it in her system. Are they all vaccinated?

How is she doing today? Is she able to move her legs or stand? There is no hurry to put her down just in case she has another problem, but do whatever you think is best. Testing can be done along with a necropsy by your state vet to confirm Mareks or to give you a diagnosis. In what state are you located? In this link there is a list of state vets and how to keep the body cold for a necropsy:
