My old lady cat has stopped eating and drinking *ANOTHER SAD UPDATE*

She is very pretty! I hope she continues to improve and I hope she gives you many more years of enjoyment.

After the visit to the vet my cat, Koshka, ate for about a day and a half, but still didn't drink and wasn't walking around. Yesterday she didn't eat or drink at all and I gave her water with an eye dropper all day yesterday and today. Sadly, this evening at about 11:00 she passed away.

I'm so sad right now and I can't sleep. Just gonna be spending most of the night crying on the couch.

I so loved her. I adopted her when she was just a couple of weeks old. She lived with me while I went to college in Boston then Pittsburgh. She moved with me to different apartments and houses. I was just 18 years old when I adopted her so it's like we grew up together. Oh, I'm missing her so much.......

I'm so sorry. She had the best home and someone to love her. So many pets dont have that. She was truly blessed to have you.

Remember our pets are smart and they know how much we love them.

When my Abby ( a dog I had rescued) passed away, I started a thread here. I was heartbroken and lost. My family was away for the day and I had nobody to grieve to. I have to say I got the most heartfelt sentiments from "strangers" here.

One of the things I remember was someone said, once you are feeling stronger and can think of your pet and smile instead of cry, go to your nearest shelter and offer that love to another soul. It will love you back.

Tomorrow will be hard but it is the beginning of your healing. I wish you peace in your heart.
