My old lady cat has stopped eating and drinking *ANOTHER SAD UPDATE*

You gave her a good life - you were a team, and she got so much from your love. You will see her again someday.

As sad as it is, it's nice that she was able to pass quietly at home with you. I've had 3 old cats pass this way over the last few years, and they always seemed so much more peaceful than the experiences I've had when taking them to the vet for that final visit. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Oh...I'm so sorry you lost Koshka...I hope knowing she had a wonderful life with someone who so obviously loved her gives you some comfort.

I'm very sorry. I've had cats all my life, and I am not young, so I've also lost a lot of cats. It just becomes time to take in the next one, for me.

About 25 years ago I buried one in a particular spot in the back yard. Every time I mowed the grass there, I remembered her as I passed by, and I would often say hello to her out loud. Some of them are just special.

(My current rescue jumped in my lap as I was typing this -- honest.)
