I did this based on a plan i purchased online. It is my first time building anuthing involving a saw. Did it in just under 2 months and hoping to get chicks soon. Unfortunately chicken math is hitting hard and i am already making plans to attach a larger enclosed run area. My total all in costs were just under 700.00 which far exceeded my original 350 budget. Critiques always welcome as i am new. 6 foot by 12 foot total foot print so far

Is the back still open like the first two pictures?

And is the top of the wall between the coop and run still open, like the first two pictures?

Air circulation is very important ... especially trying to keep them cool in the summer ... ;)

While it is too late now ... I would have built the roof over hangs about an extra 2' ... shade! :)

Do you have any pictures of the inside?

Overall you did a fabulous job, it does look very nice, and we'll built, much better than any $700 pre-fab!

Wow very nice. It looks like critters might be able to get into the run through the cinder block holes. Can't really see inside that well though

I am very impressed! All that effort payed off with a fabulous coop, and even more so when you get chickens!

One thing I noticed--Can predators get in around the base of the coop where the cinder blocks are?
I can't quite see in the pictures. Are the cinder blocks going to be below ground or stay above it?
