My Orpingtons- Most of them anyway- Pic heavy!

The barred baby is cute-love to see how he/she progresses. Good to know about the hidden barring gene. I haven't kept white birds before, other than my one Lt. Brahma and now my Delawares.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing

I am excited at the prospect of replacing my Buff Orp roo with either one of his sons (I have a cockerel from him that I hatched) or a cockerel from hinkjc's eggs (which is preferable depending on what hatches tomorrow.) I like the Buff Orp roo I have but he is over two now and looks pretty rough due to the frostbite.

Jared, your hatch is due tomorrow already? Wow, time flies when you're having fun. My hatch is due tomorrow too. I have 4 pips so far.

Good luck with your hatch.

Thanks Jody- they were actually due to hatch today but my hatches have regularly been on day 22 so I don't get my hopes up until then. I'll go down and check right now actually.

Ok, just checked and no pips yet, but when I candled there were 9 viable eggs from your eggs and the two black/white crosses that I set were good too so I should be getting something from them.
