i must've skipped this post...

i have bad news for you... the owner of that reef tank in that video was the one that got me into chickens... he has two tanks... but since we got into the chicken hobby BAD, we haven't been taking care of our tanks really... i lost all of my SPS, most of my LPS colonies and my zoas/polyps stopped growing... i'm getting rid of the tank soon to expand the chicken obsession and so is he... LOL... i was even going to run as VP on a local reef club called SCRK, but meh... the chicken hobby is a lot better for me... i love the people, they're so friendly and actually help... the reef hobby is infested with haters and goobers... srsly... i'm over that...

wow so I might get the chicken addiction then I mod 2 reef forums and haven't had any problems with hateful people
but most of them I know personally and most are locals so we swap frags and help each other out, there is a couple of forums
that I won't name that are very hateful I stear clear of people like that there's just no room in my life for haters.
sorry to hear about your SPS's thats what I am into mostly, these tank take up a lot of my time and money so I do plan to
break down the 40g then I will be down to just the 180 and 250 I have been slowly consolidating I was up to 4 tanks but sold one about 6 weeks ago. I like the friendly people here I'm sure I will find all the help I need. again thanks for the warm welcome.

cool man... yeah, i mod'd a bunch of forums too... the last one i was a mod was one based in mexico... LOL... it's called zonareefs, but i stopped because they were nothing but drama... and i don't have time to mod forums anymore... a lot of work and no reward really... all you do is make enemies... now i know why there are a bunch of reefers that just keep to themselves and don't involve themselves in swaps, parties and friendships with other reefers... it all makes sense now... i'm officially getting out of the hobby after all these years this weekend... my tank goes for sale tonight... gonna miss my clowns, but i'll get another tank soon... i'm looking to downgrade... might get a custom elos tank with a custom coast to coast overflow box... but i want it to be either a 74g or 50g tank... tiny compared to my old tanks...

well take care, and don't spend all your cash on the tanks... to be honest, it's not worth it... unless you're buying colonies from the wholesalers and fragging to sell on the forums... LOL...

I'm envious. Always wanted to get into reefing but have neither the time or the resources at the moment.

Right now my hobbies consist of reading, writing, making music videos, and jogging. Hoping to expand on that eventually but right now...eh.

I like to cook, but don't have a kitchen of my own that I feel free to experiment in. I like sewing, but need space to do it. I like researching new techniques for teaching...but without a class to experiment on...kinda moot point. I also want to get back into martial arts...but I need money for that. I'll get there eventually!
