I know you're doing a lot of research and I wish you well. Probably best to vacate the stand for now and sell to regular customers at your back door or advertise a weekly yard sale. Some municipalities have variances, and your local laws should be posted online so you can check. I know you probably don't want to incur legal fees, but it might come to that. I think what you're doing is a wonderful service to your local community.

Before I sold one chicken, one duck, or one simgle quail, somebody more official than a unelected city non-official would have to put some thing in writing.

As for it blowing over-- okay. But that dude could blow it out his $^&$

Still don't understand if you are actually breaking any law, code or ordnance.
