My Pallet Coop

Looks great!! This actually gave me a cheap easy idea for expanding out coop! You can also take strip of wood and sandwich the chicken wire between the wood strip and your run frame and screw that together. It's easy and secure!

chicken wire is not secure. If you use hardware cloth in lieu of chicken wire, it is secure.

I use chicken wire for my runs and haven't had issues at all but I think we are blessed to not have much predator problems.

All looks great! Makes me wish I could upload my pallet coop pics I'm up to roughly 60 to 70 pallets in now maybe more not to mention the other scrap wood and fallen barn I used its about 15 ft high 52 ft long and 19 ft wide with several other 10 x 20 pallet runs built off the side and pallet deck wrapped around it, I'm a couple months in and not even half way done lol as long as pallets keep coming it will keep growing

I was given an old wood frame window sash and plan to put it on the coop next. I'm also trying to decide whether to buy siding or just use more pallet slats and then paint it. Almost done and I'm up to nearly $100, still, I'm happy with it and this was a fun and interesting project.

In case I haven't said yet, the dimensions are:
Coop - 4' w X 4' d X 4' h and it's 21" above the ground.
Yard - 6' w X 4' d X 6' h
