Hello Everyone!

I have a flock of pekin (assorted colours) and sebright (1 silver and 1 Citrone) hens, with a silver partridge pekin rooster, and have recently allowed some broody hens to hatch clutches of eggs. I'm still getting my head around the finer points of the colours and patterns so would greatly appreciate any help with determining what these babies might be.. and identifying if "any" of these might possibly have a sebright mother. I've included pictures of the flock too for assistance.

This little one looks like a silver pencil. They are all too young to sex. 2 weeks? Is that their age?

Thanks for the reply LilJoe! All these babies are between 5 and 7 days old. I understand that visual signs for sexing come much later.. but I thought perhaps we might have some sex-linked genes at play which might give some clues.

There are no possibilities for sexlinking, given the adult flock. The Silver Sebright might produce sexlinked chicks, if the rooster wasn't also silver factor.

Nope, none of those varieties mixed would create a sex-link. Plus, the first chick shown might possibly have a Sentient motherm

That is my suspicion too. All the other babies have indications of partridge or mottling, which they would get from a pekin/pekin pairing .. but the three black babies are quite different, with the face mask and indistinct feather marking. I know that as they grow this may evolve but I am very much keeping my fingers crossed for a sebright/pekin cross.
