My Pet Chicken drop ships from Meyer Hatchery. When I ordered, I could get a better price from MPC versus ordering directly from Meyer. I dealt with their customer service twice, once when they wanted to see if I wanted to move up my order date because of a cancellation (I didn't), and once more to add to my order. I was pleased with the customer service I got, and had no problems with my order, it even arrived a day earlier than expected. The fifteen chicks shipped on a Tuesday, and arrived early Wednesday morning, instead of Thursday.
All of the chicks were healthy and happy when they arrived. I lost one at a week and a half due to an accidental drowning, and another at fifteen weeks due to her flying into a neighbor's yard and being eaten by a dog, both things beyond the hatchery's control. One of the chicks got minor pasting on her butt, at about a week old, but it cleared up with little effort. I ordered fifteen pullets and all of the surviving birds are pullets.
