Americium, the Ameri-Flower. Appears to have a crest, as MPC said earlier. Real curious to see how it will compare to my SFH.

Here is the Super Blue Egg Layer which I have a few questions about... First, the students named it John Cena. We will see I want that changed in time...

Anyways. I read that the SBELs from MPC hatch yellow. This one is the opposite of that. But I heard there could be different crosses for SBELs. So is this still a SBEL?

Yes. They look like SFH but lay better I read.

You definitely need to post pics, love to see what cross they made! Curious to see how well they produce. I have an SBEL from @dmrippy here. She lays 5 or 6 big blue eggs a week

I hatched 2 pullets and one cockerel, they were all yellow with the occassional black spot. The boys comb popped out in less than 2 weeks. Leghorn genetics there

I think I figured it out. I talked to one of the people on the MPC website, that said they changed the pens around and haven't updated the web description yet.

Not with this year's SBELs but in year's past, I remember Donna saying that sometimes she got dark chicks. I think they wound up being a cuckoo/barred bird. Her current cross is a crested cream legbar over white leghorns giving all yellow chicks. In the past I think she sometimes had an ameracauna roo in the mix.
