oh sorry about the little one hope you were imagining things about the other one. I fed my little isbar that had been trampled during shipping... Gatorade. She is great now and definitely a pullet yay.

Unfortunately it too was dead this morning, so none of the d'uccle made it. It's a bit over the 48 hour guarantee so I guess I won't be able to get a credit for it. I guess no new d'uccle this year only my mixed ones from my own eggs.

Thank you, it was all too much for them, one less day in the box maybe might have made a difference. I guess it's better to hatch, well besides the roosters.

How are yours all doing?

Every one is doing great. The 1 weekers I ordered from MPC have been out in the run for several days and they are doing very well out there. The Silkies I hatched went out yesterday. I just popped them in with the others and so far no issues at all. One of the Silkies (and I don't know what he/she will be named yet) has taken to standing at the edge of the pen and watching the older chicks (now about 5 weeks old) and the adults with what for all intents and purposes looks like "space envy"....I wanna be out there with the big guys!! Nope, a couple more weeks yet, Little Dude. I am so doggone happy that I took the risk and started brooding outdoors.

Nice, mine have another week or so then they can go outside during the day too. Well it has to stop raining too. About two weeks in a brooder and they are ready for some fun in the sun.

I like bantams and their Napoleon complex.

1 month old all 7 of my chicks I purchased from MPC are doing great! My americaunas are beautiful!
