Hi Wayne,
Thanks for contacting My Pet Chicken with your concern. We're sorry to hear you didn't see any development on you Golden Marans eggs. As a hatching addict myself, I understand that pain, unfortunately! Have you had a chance to review the troubleshooting guide we have in our free incubation ebook?
http://www.mypetchicken.com/hatching-eggs/chapter-8-hatch-day.aspx
As an experienced hatcher, you must know the blastoderm you're looking for to determine fertility deteriorates once incubation begins, so not finding a blastoderm on eggs that have been incubated does not indicate infertility. We've created a help topic to address concerns on why fertile eggs might not hatch:
http://www.mypetchicken.com/backyard-chickens/chicken-help/I-got-a-terrible-hatch-Does-that-mean-most-of-my-H143.aspx?
Unfortunately, no supplier of fertile eggs can guarantee a hatch rate. Not only do suppliers have no control over the conditions under which the eggs were incubated, or if they were set promptly upon receiving, suppliers also have no control over handling during shipping.
However, we do offer a discounted rate on orders that have very poor hatch rates, but I won't know if your order qualifies for this discount since your hatch is still on-going. You did mention your Polish are developing well and that your Black Copper Marans are showing some development as well, so please let us know how they do.
Thanks again for choosing My Pet Chicken!
Best,
Karen

Yes I recently purchased 9 Black Copper Marans, 9 Golden Cuckoo Marans and 3 Golden polish hatching eggs. I am very disappointed with my order. Although all of them were intact when I recieved the mhe develpment is lackluster at best. I know nobody can control the hatch rate on shipped eggs I went off the 50 percent hatch rate that is the norm. I have a Genesis incubator. I have all of your eggs in this along with my own stock. the 3 polish are all doing well. The BCM are questionable. ALL of the Golden Cuckoos are not developing whatsoever. 9 eggs and not one develpment? Not right! I cracked a couple open and the didnt even look fertilized! I dont know who you breeder is, but you need a new one. I spent 8.00 an egg! Eight DOLLARS. I know the possibilities were there but Im very disappointed. All of my eggs 20 or so are developing. So I know its not my settings or incubator. I will never by anything from your company again. Im just floored. As now I cannot find my Golden Cuckoos that I really wanted anywhere. And as a Business this is my lively hood.
