Me too, I hate to say. If it's not simple to read and straight to the point, I skip it. That's me.

I mean this in the friendliest possible way, but: Get over it. We're here to be friendly and help each other and share commons interests, not to critique each others' grammar. You should hang out on a Proper Grammar Message Board if you are that peeved about typos.

Lol...I use to go back and edit every single time I reread what I'd posted and found errors, so I do understand. Now, while I'll still read through my posts for mistakes, unless it's a huge one I don't go back and change them anymore. I will admit that the interchangeable use of "there," "their" and "they're" still bugs me...along with "I" used in the subject of a sentence...

I'm horrible about typos in which my fingers type familiar words, words similar in spelling to what my brain is thinking...like I'll be thinking "an eagle," but will type "and eagle"????

But everything I say is so incredibly intelligent and perfect that I don't need to edit my posts because I want to get it up on the forum right away since that's the only way to get people to read your posts and I really want tons and tons of people to read my posts 'cuz they're always so incredibly intelligent and interesting not to mention perfect.

And no ones perfect, so stop worrying about it, each is his own individual.

This how we learn and grow.
Just a hint, being dyslexic and having absolutely no idea how to spell , google spell check on their tool bar is a miracle to me and the others out there like me. Even when other spell checks tell me that they have 'no suggestion', google comes through!
Some people have learning disabilities, some have not had the opportunities that we have had.
For me it is an auditory processing issue. I can hear, but I have no idea which order the phonetic sounds came in. I used to be stupid, then they tested me. I'm not. but i'z types that way sometimes!

If you learned something about tolerance, then this was a really good day for you! I'd go celebrate and have some chocolate ice cream!
you are now officially ahead of the curve. most of us are middle aged before we loosen up.

Me too. My sister was amused by my desire to edit my posts on a "forum" (of all things!!!) and bought me a sign that says the following "Bad Spellers of America, UNIGHT!"

She's a ham my sis!!

I ALWAYS spell "the" wrong. It comes out "teh" and I have to correct it each time.
