All kids are soooooo different! Even though my kids will eat some of the easy foods...mac & cheese, PB&J...my 2 year old won't eat them all the time! 1 day she likes the hot dog & then next she won't touch it! Kids!
I do not fix all you can eat buffetts......you eat what I make or nothing at all. Sounds mean, but well...... It has seemed to work so far.
By the way, something I found that was a lifesaver for me when my picky eater started actually losing weight was the Barilla PLUS pasta.
That is the pasta that is made with lentils, chickpeas, eggs, and a whole bunch of other good stuff.
I would make it plain with butter and since it had so much veggie matter and protein in it, I didn't feel too bad if that was the only thing she ate for dinner.
