My pictures want show up?

I was trying to make a breed page to and when I try to post a picture an box with an x comes up. How come my pictures don''t showing up.
Is the breed page contest still going on?

Are you using an online hosting site? Or trying to upload from your computer?
Your pics need to be hosted online.

I am using photobucket, then I copy the image code and paste to the picture insert box.

are your photobucket pages password-protected?

or, are you sure you are copying the "direct link" url, not the url at the top of your browser page?

I am copying the bottom link under my picture are you suppose to do that the same way as you post a picture.

Ok, I figured out what I was doing wrong I copied the wrong link thanks everybody. One last question is the contest still going on.
