My poor Goosey

I woke up Wed to find my Seb attacked by a raccoon. I played vet and an very happy to say he is doing very well. He has about 30 punctures in his neck. Also 3 yrs he had his wing amputated after my horse kicked him and broke it. He is such a trooper!

This is the first day

Today, he is taking a well deserved bath

Trying to scratch is head very gently

Oh that poor baby! That just looks so painful. Hopefully a nice soak in the tub will help him though.

You might want to get him on some antibiotics...esp. with all the puncture wounds. Good Luck with him...he really is a trooper!

Nikevijo, we have the same problems with racoons.
I hope your goose got better. Ours did not. I hope we have the problem fixed now so the racoons cannot get to our geese. I know how bad it hurts to lose one. From your pictures she looks like she turned out beautiful. I think you bought some from me this last spring is she one of them? She looks like she may come thru this ok. Antibotics would be good.
