I'm sorry about your kitty's booboo's and hope he's on the road to a complete and speedy recovery. I agree with a few others here, a bird of prey, they certainly look like talon wounds. Have come across a few bunnies with very similar wounds. Luckily, cats are awsome healers, I had a cat who used his and several other cats' 9 lives before he died. He was shot in the head with a pellet gun near his year, didn't penetrate his hard skull but i had to squeeze and drain the wound several times a day while he healed, he came home one day with a crazy blow dart hanging out of his side (stupid neighborhood kids), he sliced his entire forearm from armpit to paw resulting in nearly 150 stitches. Each and every time, he was down for the first few days but when he started to feel better, he'd want out. He died New Years morning this year, of what we suspect a heart attack while chasing a mouse! The old boy was almost 13 and weighed 24lbs with the head the size of a softball. My advice is to keep him as quit and calm as possible for a few days, keep him on the antibiotics and keep the wounds clean as puncture wounds can harbor germs more than gashes. Also, if you had the cat declawed, he really has no business being outside. He can not effectively defend himself against any sort of attack. It takes their best weapon against preditors. You are going to have a horrible fight on your hands to retrain him to stay inside. I would say, let this also act as a lesson and example as to why you never EVER EVER EVER EVER declaw a cat.
