I wish I would have thought to take a pic!! I bought some DE from the feed store yesterday. I know the chickens have mites, so it's only safe to assume that the quail do as well, since the chickens are always on their cages.
Anyway, most of the quail, I took their dust pans out of their cages, put the DE in, then went and got some sand. Except for the tuxedos. Idk why, but I just dumped some of the DE in their pan, and left it in the cage. I came back with the sand, and it looked like I had nothing but A&M in that pen!!
The poor things were all white! At least I know they got a good dusting of the stuff!
