My problem duck!

I want to thank everyone for all your help with Fred. She just passed away. :hit I'm just thankful my other 2 have each other
 
@shawluvsbirds can you take a look at this? Does this look similar to any issues you’ve dealt with?

Does anyone know how likely a prolapse is if the duck isn’t of laying age yet?
It did look very similar to what was happening to my duck. I was about to respond but I see it's too late. :hit

I don't know for sure because I didn't go to the vet. But I think what my duck had was vent gleet. Basically a yeast infection. I was unsuccessful treating mine and ended up having to end her suffering. From stuff I've read it's pretty hard to cure if it's not caught real early on. But who goes around looking at their duck vents regularly. :rolleyes:
My duck was also one who wouldn't swim often. I have wondered if that plays a part.
