The typical laced Wyandottes have single lacing (one black* edge on each feather). Double lacing is two black edges on each feather.Do you know if the double lacing of the Wyandotte works against the mottling?
*Black edges are the most common, but various genes can change them to blue, splash, white, or chocolate.
