My Project I have started

Well I might sound crazy but I am trying to persuade a hen to go broody. Here is what I am doing we have a surplus of eggs right now so what eggs they lay for the next few days I am marking them and dating the eggs and leaving them in a nest. I am hoping I can persuade a hen to hatch. If it is sucessful updates will be often. This is just an epierement.

Do you have a back-up plan, like an incubator?

get some silkies. mine stay broody more than they lay eggs.

I have my clutch now so it is up to them now
