my pug is in labor- 2 so far 8/24/08

I had one that always waited about 2 hours for her last one. It was fine when it came. Also we have often taken the girls out to go potty when in labor, just to keep things progressing. Of course, always on a leash or fenced yard. Last thing you want is them running off somewhere to have the puppies!

It has been about 8 years since I had a litter. I love everything about it except selling them. Not necessarily them leaving part, as much as I loved them, I knew I couldn't keep them all and only bred when I needed a new show dog. It was dealing with the public and then worrying over each home they went to.

well momma just was cleaning up on the other side of blanket I think another is coming. Im not keeping any I have 3 already so Im selling them. I didnt line homes up this time but I know a couple people that will want one when they see them. last female that had them had sold first day and more wanting them. besides I had 3 boys and 1 girl and everyone wanted girls last time now all girls.

I know about the worry I have a cousin that would problely buy 2 but I told her I had homes for all of them because shes unfit and nasty.

heres a pic of fat momma holding one baby. shes still restless but its been a long time since she had one

That one looks lighter than the others. How sweet. Where are the other puppies? Do you have to keep them away when they are not feeding? I never went through that puppy stuff before

no they are sleeping on the other side of the blanket but momma moved. also they were still wet in the first pic they are all dry now. I dont seperate them

I dont know if she still looks fat, i mean.....like you said, it doesn't go away so easy. Did you feel her belly? I have a friend with a puggle, and she had puppies last week. She thought she was done at 5 pups and when her mom came to see them the next day there were 7. But i would think 4 was a good # for a pug. How many did your pug have before? Whats the norm?

my last one had 4 but 2 where huge and the other 2 where bigger than these and she was smaller than this mom.the other one got small right after also. this girl got huge and had a litter of 7 once. I thought I felt one move in there but Im not a dog anotomy expert so who knows. Im just afraid if I go to sleep she will have more and they will die if Im not there to cut the cords. I cut all 4 so far.

How long has it been now since the last pup? Maybe set the alarm to get up periodically and check on her. Do you have to work tomorrow?
