My quail are 4 weeks old and small…

As you might know I have coturnix, but they seem small for 4 weeks look at the picture and let me know if they seem small to you? Also they crow now👇

What is their weight? It's really hard to judge size by a picture.

What are you feeding them?

The tank is really not a good idea for them.
1 - It's too small for them
2 - Solid sided tanks don't give them enough ventilation
3 - It's likely to get hot in there with nowhere for their heat to escape.

I feed them game bird feed! I just moved them to the big brooder and I don’t know how much they weigh.
 
Birds fed a 20% protein feed will grow slower than those fed a 28% protein feed, they are fully feathered and sexually maturing (crowing) so I’d say you are fine size wise. I actually personally prefer the later maturity (laying at 7-9 weeks vs 5-7) when I switched to a lower protein feed, I had 30% wonky eggs the first three weeks, now I get 1% or less, but if they are meat birds the younger maturity is a good thing.
