My quail eggs going into incubation 1 day late?

I have two batches of quail eggs going right now in 2 different incubators, but when we lost power about a week ago, I had to reset the day counter. When I started my second batch of quail eggs, I put the date in my phone, so I got that one back on track. But I didn’t do that for my first batch. I think I’m a day off and wanted to know if putting my quail in lockdown a day late will kill them. Haven’t had any pips yet... thanks in advance.

No, a day late will not kill; just try to be quick with that last turn. My wife didn't lockdown at all as she always had staggered hatches and the eggs hatched. Broody hens don't lockdown; I frequently see mine off the nest eating, drinking, or taking a dust bath after their eggs have externally pipped. Just yesterday my Yokohama hen was off her nest and I took the opportunity to look at the eggs. They were externally pipped and today they all hatched.

Ok thanks! This makes me feel much better!
