you will have babies sooner than you think and yea i know what you mean.. my eyes are on fire right noe and my legs feel like there about to fall off.. Incaubation and hatching needs to be a sport.. i think i lost 5lbs this week from running back an forth with no sleep..Lol

And i have so far 8 coturnix chicks and 2 extra button chicks.. one button chick is bright yellow does that mean it's gonna be white?

Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain : i have one Golden coturnix chick so far...lol it's like a bright yellow chick with light brown strips​

The bright yellow buttons are whites... you are so lucky! I only got one white and two silvers out of 15 babies. Unfortunately they're not laying yet, but maybe someday I'll hatch more. My other birds are laying several eggs a day for me now, and some have tested as fertile... due the end of the week!

Hope you get at least one more... it would be nice to have a breeding pair, eh?

lol thats how mine are now.. i have 2 silver ones and now a white one all the rest are brown.... i have 4 more button unhatch eggs in the bator i hope i get atleast one more to hatch

i got like 4 maybe 5 unhatch coturnix eggs left and there all pippin

You know, they may look "brown" now... but just you wait. Watch as their colors unfold over the next few weeks... it is freakin' amazing how much they change, and how fast their wings grow!!!

****UPDATE****

The hatch is DONE!!

so here is my total....

27 button quail eggs

9 hatch

**2 hatch with yolk sac died**
then i had some after checking they died around day 12 or 13 that was about 3 chicks there

9 was way more than i thought i was gonna get so i'm very very VERY!!! happy

15 coturnix quail eggs

13 hatch

** 1 was clear and after checking the last egg that pip it looks like it drowned**

.............

I'll be posting pics of the quails once the last 4 coturnix chicks dry off

Congrats on a GREAT hatch!!!!!! Can't wait to see, and what a terrific hatch on the coturnix!!! I might have to try those...

Glad you got a white one! Two or three of the eggs I've got in the bator are marked white so I am hoping for a pair.

Still can't get my humidity up...was only 62% when I got up this morning but I am hoping it'll continue to climb.
