Dobby the quail came to me through the mail with 99 others, and since there where so many I didn’t see his leg until 3 weeks had already passed! Dobby has been getting along fine until recently, he has been hobbling about, but I noticed a swelling in the leg and I was wondering if any one knew if there was some way to save the leg, because it has already been three weeks I didn’t know if trying to fix it would be worth it or if it would just cause him more pain. Please if you know how to help let me know your thoughts!

Agreed sorry dear id also put the poor thing down. Gangrene can set into a joint that badly mangled without the skin ever opening and he could die a very long painful death where youd only see redness and swelling.
Yes, sally I put him down this morning so he wouldn’t have to suffer, thank you for all of the support.
