My quails are 1yr old now,can they produce fertile eggs?

My curtunix quail are one year old this august,and they are still laying eggs,can they produce fertile eggs for hatching

Contrary to popular belief, yes they can. I have hens older than a year that still lay fertile eggs, and all sources say that they can.

My oldest pen is a roo my son made a pet of, The roo is now 2 years old and still ahem... vigorious.

i know someone who has a roo that's 8 years old.
hens don't live as long due to all the stress to their bodies from egg laying

Platypus is 3 in a few more weeks, his hens have passed around 2 years (prolapse, heat stroke and egg bound), we keep giving him new harems.
 
I have a 3year old roo and 2 3 year old hens. Other than Romeo's favorite (keiko) having a few bald spots everyone is fine.
