Do to recent coyote sightings around my small farm (in the horse pasture, chasing my dog, howling under my window) I've started carrying my 9mm browning Hi Power around the place when I'm working outside. This morning when I walked the dog down to the swamp to do his business I jumped a big ugly female from a clump of cattails. Was able to draw the pistol and connect with 3 out of 5 rounds on the run at about 35 yards! Amazing what you can do when you shoot instictively with a piece you are well practiced with (I shot this handgun in action leagues last summer). One less pest around the farm. Unfortunately she had mange so the pelt is worthless.

Gotten 12 more within a mile radius with the predator call this season. Not hearing so many at night anymore.

Reminds me of the old Queen Hit:
    Another one bites the dust...
    Another one gone... and
    Another one gone... and
    Another one bites the dust...

    Good shooting.

Wish more people would do this more often, shooting like that gives good feelings to a fellow.
    Nice job.
