I have a question-do you quilt on a large quilting frame or do you use a lap hoop and why? I hear some quilters say they have to use a large frame or vice versa?

I had a big frame and sold it. My house isn't large enough to have it up for months on end. So, I quilt in a hoop. I don't do many bed size projects anyway.
