My Quirky Geese

Hi,
Can anyone tell me please why my male Emden goose has started to drop leaves and twigs etc into his and his lady's wading pool? Very funny to watch and entertaing too but also messy!

I think they must like their food with water -- or they like toys in their bath . . . my geese will pull grass and twigs into their ponds . . . it is funny!
