Most often 'Dottie' , our Golden Campine is the sweetest lil' pullet you'd ever meet. I've read how they can be rather flighty at times and people report them as being, well, rather crazy acting. Mine is nothing like that! Until I disturbed her while she was sitting on her nest anyway! I didn't know she would act this way and would have left her alone if I had known. Right after filming she went back to her nest and all is well between us now.
I don't think they are the broody type.
