My husband and I decided to get chickens. The story is on my blog. I thought we could buy "older" pullets and not go through the whole baby raising thing but it turns out they were only two weeks old so we ended up raising babies after all.

We got the coop chicken ready before going to get the chickens since we thought they would be going straight into it but like most life plans, they changed.

Now that we have more time I have found myself being waaay too preoccupied by my adorable girls.

Here is the process our coop took. We started on May 30 and it was chicken worthy by June 3. It has rained a lot in Utah and I have been preoccupied holding feathered babies so it still isn't finished but it's close.

Let me know what you think or if you have any questions.
