They are 11wks old! I'm so proud of myself that they are doing so good! Do I worry a bit much sometimes? Yeah, I do... These are my first babies. All I want is for them to keep growing bigger and stronger every day.

How many do you have total? And how many of each sex? They sure are beautiful and look healthy and strong!! I’ve always had RIR in the past but am thinking maybe both RIR and Barred Rocks this next time!! Been years since I had chickens looking forward to getting back into keeping them..

I got the four Rhode Island Reds in the pictures. I believe they are all hens. When they were about 5wks old I got a Mille fleur d’Uccle who was being bullied by bigger chicks at Tractor Supply. The next day I got two Golden Sexlink pullets for my Bantam baby to have buddies. They are as thick as thieves since I put them together 6wk ago. I'm waiting for my Mille fleur d’Uccle to be 8wks old before asking if the smart people who know more than me; if my Bantam baby is a rooster or hen. I'm noticing that my Golden Sexlink chicks are now getting a bit bigger than my Mille fleur d’Uccle. They still sleeping in a pile with each other every night.
