My Ringneck doves aren't showing any signs of mating...

"All birds eat messy" ok wait, I don't see chickens eating messy like how doves do, nor finches nor other species of birds, so that's wrong, and I was just looking for some other idea on how I should feed doves

You don't think chickens are messy!? Lol okay and finches are a 1/4 the size of a dove but yes they are just as messy in proportion to their size. I've succesfully raised all of these birds over they ears so...
And I don't know exactly how you are feeding them. Is it in a cup?

Is it hard for you to just buy a bird feeder or cup with a rim to the birds can not throw the seed out?

They need access to food all day.. not just one time!!!

That's is one of the reasons they are not breeding as they are so hungry and so not getting into breeding condition.

Have you actually read up on how to take care of these birds?

Perhaps you are better to give them to someone else who will be able to take better care of them?

pft as if i'm thinking about giving them to someone else, I'll just buy the cup with the rim? My Uncle have a Pigeon coop and he feeds his birds once a day at the afternoon and they still breed and produce healthy squabs and they always reach adulthood?

Ring Neck Doves are NOT pigeons. They are smaller and have faster metabolism and need more frequent feedings of small amounts of food. Easy to just let them have food there all the time.

If you think you know what you are doing and everything is OK why are your doves not breeding? You asked for help and suggestions, but you just keep saying you will keep doing what you are doing now..., which is not working as you have no baby doves and your doves are not even cooing and behaving normally.

My last post on this thread.

first if you switch to pellets they wont do that much wasting all they are doing is picking there favorite feed and tossing the rest next go on line some of the supply houses and see the feeders with pexiglass fronts with holes to stick there heads threw the hole prevent a lot of waste you can cut milk jugs with a hole to stick there head in but if you feed free choice there will be waste to some degree do you have different kinds of doves togather

Cool, Thanks for info for the building of feeders , and yes i'm planning to get 2 other species of doves which are: Ruddy ground doves and Grey fronted doves
