He is my head roster ( all are about 15 weeks old) I have 5

Any ideas on the others

reddish brown
black and white
multi with green

orange colour

I have 13 hens and think I may need to get rid of a few roos (Elvis does not like to share and the only one mounting) Is that normal?

Thanks Nancy

They all look like mixed breed roosters to me. You might want to separate or give away some roosters or else the hens could get hurt and harassed too much, serious rooster fights are nasty as well.

They all look like mixes, just guessing on color, the red and white ones may be red sex link roos, the barred on a black sex link roo, the brown could have Wyandotte in him from the comb, the darkest one maybe an EE mix.
Ya, you have too many roosters for 13 hens, they're going to get overmated, you probably don't want more than one or two roos if you even want any. They are still a little young so you aren't having much trouble yet, but when all the hormones hit, it will not be pretty. There is usually one dominant roo who does most of the mating and keeps the other roos in line as best he can.

I thought they might be mixes
They were given to me from an old farmer. He saw me coming got 11, 5 are boys.
So I ended up getting 6 white girls from the feed store.
4 more girls from a breeder ( reds )
I would like to keep 2 or 3 rosters so I have to make some decisions

You can make a rooster pen as veer67 said so you can take your time choosing. Sometimes it is good to see who is the nice cock bird and who likes to flog you.

I have lots of pens and barns so its no problem separating or making smaller flocks. Knowing me I will end up keeping them.:)
The farmer had Delawares, Faverolles, Easter Eggs and a few more breeds, I don"t mind that they are mixed, more interesting lol
