last night a fox came for our chickens and my brave little roo tried to save one of the girls, in the end she didn't make it through the night. but the room looks like he is gonna pull through. he seems to have a neck injury, he cant hold his head up early yet if I set him in a certain position he is able to stand upright. for that reason I think he has a muscle issue. he was bitten on the neck though his fluff saved him and the teach marks didn't go to deep. with that being said im trying to find out how to heal him. I found a way to feed him but its easier for him to drink then it is for him to eat. is there somthing I can do to help him eat are there like liquid food options I can make at home also what do I do about his neck should I let it be, idk how much a diy neck brace would help hes got lots of fluff. please if you have advice answer. can I feed him milk should I make him smoothies shell I add water to his food? I realy hope he lives I can post a picture later if it would help

This is may favorite for feeding sick chickens. It comes in powder form and you mix it. I like to use this on chickens who will only drink. This product is a complete diet and will give needed calories.

Here's a ling with lots of information: https://the-chicken-chick.com/how-to-help-sick-chicken/

to get him to eat I have to rest his chest on my knee and if I hold him up hes able to move his head enough for him to eat. The bite is at the very bottom of the neck, I got a towel underlies neck rn he seems to like it and hes sleeping.
