My rooster has a green and liquid poop

I'm sorry to hear he died.

Do check the rest of your flock for lice and mites. If you find any, then it would be good to treat them with. You are in the Philippines, so hopefully you can ask at your local pet shop or feed shop for a suitable product. See if you can fine Zero Mite, but you will need to bath the birds and still find something to treat their housing too. Permethrin based dust or spray is often used in the US.
order to get rid of parasites in the area where the chickens are walking, you can remove the chickens for 1 day and burn the erea, you can also spill hot water. If you do it twice all parasites are sure to die.

And about the chicken flu, or "Evian influenza", our country got it from birds migrating, so it's possible your village got it through the same method.

Hi, I'm sorry for updating this late but he died right after i responded to your message. I still dont know what happened but i noticed lately that my neighbor's chickens started to decrease rapidly. I didn't have the time to ask them.

Is there any idea what was the cause of this to prevent it from happening in the future?

Some information of them if this helps:
He was one of my first three chickens given at a young age. Now, i have 16 chickens, 2 are broody the rest are young (3mos to 6mos). Never vaccinated and they roam freely rain or shine. I give them mixed feeds in the morning and crushed corn in the afternoon. Occasionally mix their drink with vitamins and electrolytes.

Well if the case was lice and mites your chickens could have gotten them from you’re neighbors also.
My coop and my chickens were infested with mites but we didn’t know for some time and we kept loosing chickens maybe like one or two every week and we thought it was probably the bird flu 🤧 but apparently it wasn’t. Then we found out that they had mites so we treated them and the coop. Check your chickens and coop for mites.
Spray recipe for lice and mites:
1 gallon spray bottle
1/2 cup castle soap
1/2 cup potassium sorbate powder
40 dropps of each essential oil: tee tree, orange, and cintronela

Mix all the ingredients into the 1 gallon spray bottle and then fill the rest with water.
Shake well. Spray this on the coop every day for 2 weeks and on the chickens every day for 2 weeks for mites and lice treatment

This recipe is just in case you need it
That is what I did and it worked.
Hope this was helpful
