My Rooster has red bumps above his anus and it is spreading upwards slowly. :(

Hi, I have a Buckeye rooster that I handle often and one day I noticed his
Poo was stuck to his ******** so I soaked his bum with a wet rag and cleaned him up.
After that he had a little redness like little bumps above his ******** and now it is spreading a bit.
I have been taking pictures, does anyone know what this is? and what to do?
Please help, he is such a sweetheart and I hope to get him better soon.

I am not sure but I think it may be mites. treat with 7's, or Ivermectin, Adams pet spray, I think I have seen that on here before. and it was some kind of mite??

I believe it is mites as well. 7 dust always works for me but I have never seen it this bad on my birds. A bath would probably do him some good too. Good luck.

One day I woke up and looked out my window and there was a Rooster on my front porch.....
Don't know how he got here,and we live a ways out of town and it's a long way between neighbors.
He turned out to be very loving and well mannered so we let him in and he gets along very well with my two cats strangely enough.
I am learning to take good care of him and will be giving him a bath after ridding the mites.
