My rooster is stomping his feet at me!

I have a 13 week old Buff Orp roo who seems to be getting very hormonal. I keep them in an 8x8 tractor during the day and let them out when I get home. He's the only roo out of 15 chickens, so when I'm not home, he's the top. When I first let them out he comes up to me and stomps his feet. I stomp my feet back at him and try to pick him up and let him know that I'm the boss. Is he threatening me?

Clementine, almost 6 months old did this to me recently. I'm so glad I saw your post and the responses here. I snatched him up and he and I went for a walk around the yard and had a nice talk. When I returned him to the run, he was his sweet self again. He is really starting to show his maleness now that he is getting older. lol
