well what i do is......
1. save the picture to a file(example: "My Pictures" or whatever)
2. go back to BYC and go to "Forum"
3. click "Frequently Asked Questions", which is at the very top of all the forums.
4. click on the first link: Q: How do I post pictures on the forum?
A: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=504
5. ignore the first way to post pics. Go to the second one that says thisand click the link(https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploadimg.php) and follow the steps that are posted below):
"How To Post Pictures Using Our new BYC Image Hosting tool:"

1) Click on the "Uploads" link at the top of the page: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploadimg.php
2) Click "Browse" to find the image on your computer
3) Upload the image to the server and then you'll be presented with the image code to paste into your post here on the forum

Here is what you can do:

Create a photobucket.com account (very easy)

If you arent automatically re-directed to the "albums & upload page:, click on the link to go there. (its on second bar all the way to the left)

Under "Upload Images & Video", click "Chose a File"

Once you've uploaded the file it'll take you to a page where you can name the picture. Click "save and continue"

The picture will then show up mid-page.

Hold your mouse over the image and you'll see a bunch of options appear. Click in the IMG Code area. It will automatically copy that code.

You can then post that code on the forum. When you click Preview or Submit you'll see the photo appear.
