My Roosters Just Fought I Need Help?????

Spent hens may not help. If a hen isn't laying a rooster doesn't waste his time with her. You can see the lack of mating when they go into molt. Of course rescued battery hens aren't usually truly spent. Just a point to consider when you do look for more hens.

Spent hens are only 2 years old. They still lay egg factorys are just really strict about how many eggs they lay. I would think spent hens would help. You coud be right though I have no experience with roosters andspent hens.

If you have another rooster chick growing up I would rehome one of the other roosters. Is there a good reason to have more than one rooster? I have one rooster per coop.
