#11 joined its family outside this morning. It made wonderful progress yesterday, eating and drinking. So outside we went. I put him about 3 feet from the rest of the family and mom kinda looked but became very worried about its pitiful peeping. Then gathered it up and off they went. I hope it doesn't have too much trouble keeping up as the others are SO much bigger. I'll be checking on it often.

Here it is on the right in front of mom.

This pic is not great, sun is still rising. But he is between mom and the one on his left was the first to hatch last Saturday.

I am SO happy that Blue was so successful in her mothering.

He is soooo much smaller, but he should catch up in no time!

Thanks for sharing!

He is positively tiny. I've checked on him about 5 times already. He found the water within 5 minutes and I've seen him eating. He seems to be a pest though. Everyone laying down and there he is climbing all over everyone's backs disturbing their naps. Later, everyones laying down and he's pecking at their eyes. They look like they get annoyed and turn around. All seems well.

I've noticed the eye-pecking with mine too!

Even though my three are only a day or two apart as you know, the second kept pecking at the first's eyes and then the third pecking at the first and second's eyes! It's very funny, just like a baby nibbling everything and not realising not to do it

There really is a huge size difference! He's adorable!

Well, I have decided to keep 5. My DH is not thrilled. His comment, "so we'll have 10?". I said right now we have 16.

Since they've grown a bit, 1 of them looks like it may be a brownish hue and white. It is very different from the blues. It is not like a fawn and white. I was disappointed not to see any chocolate, due to my chocolate male, maybe this one will be out of him.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any takers for the ones I am not keeping. Even on craigslist

I have had a number of inquiries even had someone who was "on their way" but never materialized. That really made me

I mean I seperate the babies from mom, stress her and them and then these ------- don't even call to say they aren't coming.

Any ideas what I should do with my excess? I do NOT have room for them. I was thinking of maybe selling my adult black pair, that would leave me with 3 adults and (as of now, 11 babies).

Suggestions???
