My Runners aren't very.. runner-y.

I was going to say the same thing about their heads and neck...the slope of the forehead and beak bare a Runner-like resemblence.

They sort of look like my Vinny, a black Indian Runner. It sounds like your ducks have the same problem Vinny has, laziness. Most of the time they don't have the runner posture because they're too lazy to stand upright. But every now and then, they do it.

SEND Her to the juicing room!

They are fine looking ducks, but not very runnery. Im not a duck person so that is the only determination that I can make.

I do spend a lot of time in Bali looking at ducks. Do they have the Balinese breed here in the US? they always look more runnery the any of the runner ducks that I see.

Rootball - A friend of mine came back from Bali years ago with some carved ducks. I alway thought they were really funny looking until I bought my Runners. All of the ducks were crested, did you see a lot of crested Bali ducks? Here's one that looks like a crested, harlequin Runner to me.

That's so cool! Thanks for sharing that photo-- now I want to go to Bali and see the ducks.

Now we just need to work on collectively winning the lottery so we could do it.
