my second year doing chickens and look what i got

let one my hens i got lastyear as chick go broody....shes finally hatched a few.

Very nice! I see 8 chicks,how many eggs did she set on? were they all hers?

she sat on 15 eggs and 8 hatched before she decided to start getting out of the nesting box. i'm happy with over half hatching. no they all were not hers...there was EE,whiterock,barredrock,newhampshire red and buff orpington...really not sure what all hatched,we'll see in couple weeks...the roos are both new hampshire reds
