MY SHELTIE IS SOOO TINY. questions plz (pictures too)

hello. i bought a sheltie from a bycer. a few months back. shes super tiny. i have looked up on toy shelites. kinda dissapointed because she is so small. i love her dearly and shes a loving member of our family

. question tho, anyone own any super tiny shetland sheepdogs? thanks in advance!!

No, but I have an extra small Min-Pin & Boston Terrier. I like them being smaller than most of their breed.Sorry your not happy with her size, but I'd overlook that & love her for herself, not her looks.

i love her tiny look. but sheltie's weight is about 20 30 pounds.
she will get maybe 10 pounds if that.

i have 2 little toddlers, and they love picking her up.

all the time!
i was hoping she would get bigger, that hasnt happened, and dont think it will. shes about the same size of our rir chickens. crazyhuh!

our older sheltie weighs like 50 pounds....little biggee we call him.

She is still a puppy. What does she weigh? You can usually expect a dog to about double it's 4 month weight. If she is indeed really a micro compared to other shelties her age, I would take her to the vet and have a complete blood panel done to rule out liver and other organ issues and have her heart checked. Possibly she could be inbred or have a health problem but sometimes you just get a little one that is healthy as a horse and nothing is wrong.

4 mos old is not max weight. That puppy is perfect........give her time to grow
